In October Eric, Rory and I went on a whirlwind tour of northern Georgia. The highlight of the trip, for me anyway, was a stop at an apple orchard where we picked our very own apples. These apples were huge, juicy and delicious, but more than the fruit, the experience of it was a lot of fun. I'm not sure Rory had any idea where apples actually came from before the trip.
We had so much fun that I've been checking out the you pick site, planning our next trip. We will most likely be heading out in April (weather and growing season permitting) to learn where strawberries and blueberries come from and hopefully eating ourselves sick :)
